Every day, 250 tonnes of sawdust and wood are delivered there as raw material for pellet production. The chips are dried with the waste heat from the neighbouring waste incineration plant and then pressed. This requires the temperature that the wood’s own lignin needs to develop its maximum “adhesive strength”. This enables natural production without any additives.

Compaction during the pressing process takes place at such high pressure that all air pockets are eliminated and the smallest possible volume is achieved. In addition to the quality of the raw material, this is crucial for the calorific value of the pellets. Many details in the process result in almost dust-free quality with a calorific value well above the required standard. This is backed by decades of in-house expertise, which of course we can’t reveal.

The finished pellets are then stored in 2 huge silos with a capacity of 10,000 m³ for the required time. This means that 250 tonnes of pellets leave our factory every day to heat your living space in an environmentally neutral way.
