New ideas and production steps have been quietly incorporated into our pellet production. The S pellets from Sturmberger have become Lion pellets. In addition to product development, the production plant in Wels has now also been remodelled. The result is Lion pellets, the benefits of which we are now happy to shout about.

Only regional softwood of the best quality is used. Bright as a lion’s mane, the pellets show their purity. Darker inclusions would indicate the presence of bark or other particles, which are hardly ever found in Lion pellets.
Perfect Lion pellets are created with expertise in the optimum utilisation of the wood’s own lignin in the right synergy of temperature and pressure. Perfectly solidified so that they emit as little dust as possible with a high calorific value and protecting the entire heating system.
Sustainable
Like no other
We have built our pellet plant right next to a waste incineration plant and co-operate with the operator.
The heat required for production is sourced 100% from our neighbour’s plant. PV panels on the roof of our plant produce our electricity.
Furthermore, consistent focus on local sourcing is also critical for the sustainability of Lion pellets.
We avoid long transport routes when procuring materials and bundle our delivery journeys as much as possible.
Thanks to our own truck workshop, our vehicles are always well maintained and their emissions optimised.
